Cassie H.

I am a professional photographer and art director born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. I received my B.A. at the University of New Orleans in Film Production. From 2015 to 2017 I lived on the road working on a documentary allowing me to travel to all 50 states and as a traveling portrait photographer for Lauren Studios resulting in over 10,000 portraits. In 2017 I settled in Los Angeles and immediately started working at New York Film Academy as a teacher assistant in the photography department. Shortly after in 2018 I joined an award-winning production design crew, Nomad Art + Design as a set dresser, making my way up to an art director and production designer.

My clients include Keith Haring Foundation, Nike, Finneas, Alia Shawkat, Lana Condor, Swae Lee, Tayla Park, Sierra Ferrell, and Gunnar Deatherage.

I have about 2 years of experience as a teacher’s assistant at New York Film Academy with students ranging from 18-25 years old. I currently create my lesson plans to fulfill the students’ interests and curiosity using my background in the arts and travel to inspire them.

I bring a warm, motivating, and playful learning environment that plants confidence and a love of imagination and expression.
