Puja M.

I’m from Texas, but I enjoy traveling and recently spent time living in India. I have a B.A. from Yale University and an M.F.A. from UCLA. I love movies and live music.

I have tutored students for over a decade, and I try to impart insights that they may use throughout their academic careers. I also enjoy teaching the tricks and tools to ace standardized tests. I specialize in SAT, ACT and all levels of the ISEE, and I have worked with students of all ages and abilities. In addition, I have taught courses in English, Writing, Math, and Science, including some classes at the university level. Previously, I conducted college admissions interviews for my alma mater, Yale University, so I also counsel students on their college applications and essays.

I tailor my teaching style to the needs of the individual student, making each session unique. What I love most about tutoring is seeing students become more self-reliant, confident, and excited about learning.
